2. RULING: A 1/goal B5. The fact that B56 was blocked is not relevant. The 15-yard penalty is enforced half the distance from the previous spot, B's 10, and carries a first down.
3. RULING: B 1/10 A25. New series. The fouls offset. The down is not replayed since Team B's foul occurred after Team B possession. B65 is disqualified. If B65's flagrant personal foul was the only foul during the down, the 15-yard penalty would be enforced on the succeeding play.
4. RULING: B 1/25 B45. Disqualify B44. The 15-yard penalty for B44's first noncontact foul, carrying the ball off the field, is enforced from the succeeding spot, A's 25. This makes it B's ball, 1st and 10, on A's 40. The 15-yard penalty for B44's second noncontact foul, abusive language, is enforced from the succeeding spot, A's 40. The line to gain was established on A's 30 when the referee declared the ball ready for play.
5. RULING: B 1/10 A36. The ball became dead when touched by A85 who has a foot out of bounds. This is considered a free kick out of bounds and a foul. The 5-yard penalty will be enforced from the spot where the subsequent dead ball belongs to Team B, A's 41. A85 did not commit a foul because he did not return inbounds. If A85 returned inbounds and recovered the ball on A's 41, Team B would have the 5-yard penalty enforced from the previous spot and have Team A rekick.
6. RULING: B 1/10 B31. A16 muffed a backward pass. A16 did not fumble. A16 commits an illegal kicking foul on B's 16. The penalty is 15 yards from the spot of the foul and a loss of down. Offensive team face mask, illegal use of hands, holding, illegal block and personal fouls in the field of play would be enforced from the previous spot. The advance by A66 is legal. The Referee will enforce the penalty without consultation with Team B. There is no need to drop a bean bag when A16 muffs the snap as it means nothing.
7. RULING: A 1/10 B48. B96 fouls during the first running play. The 15-yard penalty is enforced from the previous spot, A's 37. If B96 committed the personal foul after A24 got possession, the 15-yard penalty would be enforced from the end of A24's run, A's 46. [2008 Rule Change]
